Valerie Henning Mock earned her J.D., cum laude , in 1996 from the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University where she also served as the Business & Production Editor of the Law Review, Teaching Assistant for the Research, Writing & Advocacy Program and Treasurer of the Women's Law Caucus. She received her B.S., summa cum laude, in 1993 from Wayne State University . Ms. Mock comes from a corporate management background of over twelve years where she was responsible for ensuring both in-house and vendor compliance with performance standards. Ms. Mock's practice area is insurance defense litigation with primary focus on defense of professional negligence claims as well as appellate practice, having filed briefs in the state's highest courts as well as the United States Supreme Court. Ms. Mock has made numerous presentations to various groups throughout her career and has authored client newsletters providing updates and commentary on areas affecting legal defense. Ms. Mock is an active member of the Michigan State Bar Association.
